    FOUNDER

    John started Dovetail Kitchens over 35 years ago, turning a small workshop into the trusted bespoke kitchen and fitted furniture company it is today. He brings creativity, problem-solving and vision to every project while nurturing the team and company culture.

    OFFICE COORDINATOR

    At work Emma is our diligent book keeper & office coordinator she has the tidiest desk in the office! Outside the office, her creativity & interest in design shines through with her passion projects from sewing to furniture restoration.

    Lindsay

    DESIGNER

    Lindsay joined the team after graduating in 2005 with a BA (Hons) in Interior Design. She works with care and precision across all project stages, from initial concept to final installation, bringing creativity, organisation and expertise to every bespoke kitchen and furniture project.

    WOOD MACHINIST, CABINET MAKER

    Ian is a gifted woodworker he works with exceptional focus and speed. As a deaf team member, he brings remarkable concentration, precision, and efficiency to ensure every bespoke kitchen and furniture project meets Dovetail’s standards of excellence.

    FITTER

    Marc, our first apprentice, leads on-site installations with meticulous attention to detail. Known as a methodical completer-finisher, he ensures every bespoke kitchen and fitted piece is perfectly installed, reflecting over 30 years of experience and unmatched craftsmanship.

    Gareth

    PRODUCTION MANAGER

    Gareth joined Dovetail straight from school in 2000 as an apprentice. Now our workshop manager, he combines a keen eye for detail with a supportive, encouraging approach, ensuring projects run smoothly and the team consistently delivers the highest standards of craftsmanship.

    Ali

    CABINET MAKER

    Ali joined in 2018 as a junior cabinetmaker and has grown into a reliable, hardworking team member. Conscientious and energetic, he works across all aspects of the workshop and is particularly skilled in our spray shop, ensuring every piece meets the quality and finish expected at Dovetail.
